Changes at NPASD

BIg changes are happening at NPASD! On January 31st, Dr. Robin Arends transitioned from the Executive Director to the Legislative Liaison. Dr. Abigail Gramlick-Mueller was hired and transitioned into the Executive Director Role on February 1. Dr. Gramlick-Mueller has served as the president of NPASD for the past 3 years.
We want to thank Dr. Arends for her service to the organization. During this time, we saw huge advancements for the organization such as removal of the collaborative agreement requirement for practice and the ability for nurse practitioners to be named as primary care providers in Medicaid. We look forward to the future under Dr. Gramlick-Mueller's guidance.
Dr. Amy Newstrom transitioned from Vice-President to President to fill the position that Dr. Gramlick-Mueller left. Dr. Dannica Callies was appointed to fill the Vice-President Role. Dr. Callies was the previous NPASD Secretary.
