SB 61 Update

The latest update on SB61 is it is likely (99% sure) to be heard tomorrow, January 26th, on the Senate floor. Now is the time to act in contacting your Senators and reinforcing SB 61 does not promote independent practice but rather continued collaboration without a tie to licensure. In addition, SB 61 increases access to the high quality care nurse practitioners provide to their patients. Our sponsor, Sen. Deb Soholt, reports the Senators have really appreciated the positive tone of our correspondence, and we want to continue with this approach.
