SD APRN Round Table Discussion

The South Dakota Center for Nursing Workforce invites you to join the South Dakota APRN Coalition to learn more about a legislative initiative to pursue full practice authority for CNPs and CNMs in the 2017 legislative session.

The Coalition is a group of South Dakota nursing leaders that joined together to propose legislation to modernize the nurse practitioner and nurse midwife Practice Act, SDCL 36-9A; including removing collaborative agreement requirements to practice in South Dakota. Adopting these changes will bring South Dakota in alignment with surrounding states that currently have full practice authority.
