A respected healthcare organization is seeking a Neurology Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized neurological care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Ashland, Nebraska. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care for individuals living with neurological disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Manage medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Provide follow-up visits and adjust care plans based on patient progress
• Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and EMR records

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska
• FNP or AGNP certification preferred
• Experience in neurology or long-term care settings is beneficial but not required
