COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Directors: Stephen Manlove, M.D., Justine Ashokar, Ph.D.
Provide evidence-based update in mental health with a focus on advances in research regarding neuroplasticity, treatment modalities such as TMS, and useful tools such as genetic testing. There will also be innovative activities regarding neuroplasticity, education and music.
This course is designed for Psychiatrists, Psychologists, NP, PA, Social Workers, Mental Health Providers.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Describe recent advances in neuroplasticity and it's relation to mental health care.
- Explain the use of genetics in providing mental health care.
